We built a content creator marketplace and community feed, designed to support creators whether they work in video, text, or audio. Online Events Operations, Production, and Management
Our go to market strategy was to leverage virtual events with well known creators to draw people to the site, growing over 200,000 users, with many multiples more viewing the livestreams. I organized content, provided support to creators, operated the livestreams, and emergency response to technical failures. The company was initially an events aggragator app that launched right before Covid. Our team pivoted to Virtual Live Event Production , and shifted the platform to focus on providing a self serve marketplace for creators to build communities and subscriptions of their offerings.
Non Profit focusing on strategies to help guide policy and find Mental Health resources in their region in Florida. I run the website, Administer their systems, and consult on technical issues.
My wife is an amazing artist, whom I support with my technical skills to design and run her ecommerce shop, as well as work with Adobe Suite. I keep the printer functional and troubleshoot any issues that crop up. Her work can be found at Annasbreath.art
Lost Valley is an education and events center, as well as an intentional community in rural Oregon. While there, I had a complex array of tasks and roles, from Operations Manager, to ISP Entrepeneur, and everything in between.

Why are you a good fit for our team?
I can read complex systems, and understand how the disparate parts connect, unearthing pain points. I listen well to both our team, and the constituents we serve. I am adept at finding my roles, and being able to shape shift if there is need. I am also warm and friendly, even in stressful environments.
What experience highlights your abilities
I ran the operations of a complex sustainable education center and intentional community called Lost Valley. I balanced the needs of the business with the governance systems of the community with grace. On a given day, I might be , fixing the internet, moderating an argument about cats, or managing our commercial kitchens. My most valuable asset is my ability to adapt and communicate effectively with empathy as well as logical structure.
Where do you live and how do you approach remote work?
I live in the lovely rainforest of the Pacific Northwest, in Eugene, OR with my wife and two children. I built a nice office space onto my home , with a pleasant place to work with fiber internet. I am able to travel when necessary, but in general am grounded for the time being as my children are beginning with high school. I am adept at interacting with a distributed team through various platforms.
What inspires you about technology?
We can iterate quickly and solve problems that we have as yet been unable to address. When we look at social networks, and how we interact online, we have the chance to rebuild the pillars that hold up society. We can build in new structures that enable human beings to communicate, play, and learn with people in novel ways. The protocol enforces the structures bringing people together and allows for both freedom and safety.
What have you built that you are proud of?
Many things, Earth built domes, a content creator market place, a global livestream with the Burning Man Community, An ISP for a rural intentional community. What really excites me is that which I build next. Emerging from parenting young children, I am excited to have the energy to work on something big.
